Welcome to Ayurvedic Massage Canmore. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Appointment Bookings

• Booking: All appointments must be booked in advance, either online, via phone, or in person.

• Confirmation: Once an appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation via email or text.

• Late Arrivals: Arriving late will result in a shortened session.

2. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

• Cancellation: You must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 50% charge.

• No-Show: If you miss your appointment without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged.

• Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours before your appointment.

3. Payment Terms

• Payment Method: Payment is due at the time of service. We accept debit/credit cards, cash.

• Refunds: Refunds are not offered for completed services. Refunds for prepaid services or packages will be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to any cancellation fees.

• Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are non-refundable and must be redeemed within 6 months of purchase.

• Package: Package are non-refundable and must redeemed within 6 months of purchase.

4. Health Information

• Health Disclosure: Clients must provide accurate and up-to-date health information before the first session and inform the therapist of any changes in their health.

• Informed Consent: By booking an appointment, you agree to allow the therapist to perform massage therapy on the areas of the body discussed during the session.

• Medical Conditions: Clients with specific medical conditions or injuries may need to provide a doctor's note or medical clearance before receiving certain types of massage therapy.

5. Professional Conduct

• Respectful Environment: All clients and therapists must maintain a respectful and professional environment. Any inappropriate behavior (e.g., sexual harassment, misconduct, or aggressive behavior) will result in the immediate termination of the session and may lead to further action, including a ban from future appointments.

• Therapist Rights: The therapist has the right to refuse or terminate a session if they feel uncomfortable or unsafe at any point during the treatment.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

• Confidentiality: We respect your privacy. Any personal information, including health-related details shared, will remain confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except when required by law.

• Client Records: We maintain client records for the purposes of treatment planning and service continuity. These records are stored securely.

7. Liability

• Limitation of Liability: By booking an appointment, you agree to hold [Your Business Name] and its therapists harmless for any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from the use of our services, except where such injury or damage is directly caused by the therapist’s negligence.

• Personal Property: We are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property during your visit.

8. Gift Certificates and Packages

• Expiration: Gift certificates and packages must be used within 6 months from the date of purchase. Expired certificates are not valid.

• Non-Transferable: Gift certificates and packages are non-transferable and can only be redeemed by the individual to whom they were issued.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

• Modifications: We reserve the right to modify, update, or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be communicated via email or posted on our website.

• Binding Agreement: Any modifications made to these Terms and Conditions will be effective immediately upon posting or notification.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Alberta, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of  Canmore.
